'I'll kill you': Team India head coach Gautam Gambhir gets death threat via email

Former Indian cricketer and present head coach of the Indian cricket team Gautam Gambhir has been sent a death threat by email with only three words: "I kill you." After the threat, Gambhir registered a police complaint, and the police have opened an inquiry into the matter.

Simultaneously, Gautam Gambhir on Tuesday expressed his outrage against the terror attack on tourists in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, on his X (formerly Twitter) platform. The terror attack, wherein terrorists fired on tourists at the Baisaran meadow, killed 26 civilians. "Praying for the families of the dead. Those who are responsible for this will be paid back. India will retaliate," Gambhir posted on his X platform
